1. Categories
Necessary (always enabled)
The site stores a small consent record in local storage so it can remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics. This record is necessary for privacy controls and does not measure website usage.
Analytics (optional, default off)
Google Analytics 4 is not downloaded and no analytics request is sent before affirmative consent. If you reject, every page, chapter, figure, search feature, and download remains available.
2. Technologies actually used
Browser privacy restrictions may shorten cookie lifetimes. No marketing or advertising category is present because the site does not use those technologies.
3. Change or withdraw your choice
Open Cookie settings from any page footer. When analytics is withdrawn, the site stops new analytics events, disables the GA property in the browser, removes the analytics script, and attempts to delete first-party _ga cookies.
Removing a script cannot recall data already sent while consent was active. Third-party processing remains subject to the provider’s systems and applicable rights described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Consent is not assumed
Scrolling, continuing to read, downloading resources, closing a panel, or using the site does not count as consent. Accept and Reject are presented as comparable choices.
